HKSQ Preparation Meeting for the 11th World Summit for Chinese Quality (I)

The 11^th World Summit of Chinese Quality (全球華人品質峰會) will be held on 6^th to 7^th Aug 2026 in PolyU. The HKSQ preparation meeting was held on 30^th Mar 2026. Dr. Jane Wong, Dr. Mandic Wong, Ms. Angela Wong, Ms. Minda Chiang and I attended this meeting. The group photo had been taken for memory.

The theme is confirmed as “AI for Quality: Leading the Future of Excellence” (智臻品質 引領未來). AI4Q is a good topic and the logo with invitation letter had been issued. (Simplified Chinese will be changed to Traditional Chinese.)

We thank Mr. G.E. Tan’s idea and we agreed to employ his concept to design the backdrop.

However, we are concerned about the consistency of the English translation of the summit. World Summit of Chinese Quality is a translation of 全球華人品質峰會. But WACQ Summit should be translation of 全球華人品質聯盟峰會. (e.g. ANQ Congress was translated by CAQ as 亚洲质量网组织大会.) Moreover, CAQ can only use 全球華人品質聯盟 (籌). Thus, we will not use WACQ Summit until approval by World Alliance for Chinese Quality (WACQ) (全球華人品質聯盟).

Other discussions included overall budget, venue arrangement, lunch and tea, registration, logistics, technical visit, etc.
