Advanced Class II for I Ching (易經高班II)–Lecture 2

Minda and I joined Prof. Peng’s (彭泓基教授) advanced class II for I Ching (易經高班) Lecture 2 on 9^th Mar 2024.

First, Prof. Peng reviewed the exercise of moving home prediction that employed Heptagram Array (七芒星陣) method in the first lecture.

Then he introduced the Western Numerology to us. Key numbers of Numerology included Birthday No., Life Path No., Desitny No., Soul No., Personality No., Attitude No., Personal Year No., Personal Month & Day, The Maturity No., Karmic Lessons, Personal Chart, … etc.

And then he used Elvis Aaron Presley to demonstrate how to calculate those numbers for prediction of man’s personality. 

Prof. Peng then discussed how to use the wisdom of the I Ching to observe the predictions and reasoning of fortune tellers. He also introduced how to use the app to identify the Nine Palaces Flying Star Chart (九宮飛星圖) of that year.

Using Luo Shu (洛書) Nine Palaces Flying Star Chart (九宮飛星圖), Prof. Peng introduced how to calculate the SanYuan JiuYun (三元九運). In each Yuan, the number of Yuen is in the middle of nine palaces. The sequence of the Nine Palaces Flying Star Chart is the same, but the positions are changed according to the Yuan number in the middle.

After that Prof. Peng introduced Tui Bei Tu (推背圖) background and how it can predict countries’ future.

The 43^rd phenomenon predicts the unification of China. 

The 44^th phenomenon predicts China to be the leader of the world.

The last phenomenon is one person pushing another person on the back, which means it's time to stop and rest. This is an endless cycle of world change.

After the class, most of classmates have lunch with Prof. Peng in Yue Cuisine in Scout Association of Hong Kong (童軍總會粵品軒) again. We went to the restaurant first.

Then we had lunch with Prof. Peng together.  Master Law is also with us.

Master Law had appointment and left early. I took a photo for him with Prof. Peng and Ms. Hin Hin Wong.

At the end, I come back to PolyU for marking students’ test paper.
