Remember Dr. Peter Ho, CityU Eminence Society and CityU EngD Society

A sad news received from Dr. Rocky Lam in last night that Dr. Peter Ho (Past President of CityU Eminence Society; advisor of CityU EngD Society; and corporate member of HKSQ) passed away peacefully. We lost an outstanding entrepreneur in Hong Kong. We, Hong Kong Society for Quality (HKSQ) and CityU EngD Society expressed hearty condolences to Dr. Peter Ho’s family, friends and colleagues. We thanked Dr. Peter Ho for his long-term support on HKSQ and CityU EngD Society activities, as well as, CityU Eminence Society and other CityU activities. I would like to summarized his activities below for our memory.

On behalf of HKSQ, we appreciated Dr. Peter Ho support to Company Based Student Project Competition in 2010 and ANQ Congress in 2012.

Dr. Peter Ho (Chairman, Techworld Industries Ltd.) was our Silver Sponsor in ANQ Congress 2012.

CityU Eminence Society (CES)

I am very appreciated to his invitation and encourage me to join CityU Eminence Society in 2010.

CityU Eminence Society initiated its first fundraising campaign from which HK$3 million pledge/donation in 2012.

EngD cohort took a group photo during CES annual dinner.

The CES 3rd Exco Inauguration Ceremony and Annual Dinner was held on 6 March 2015.

We joined CityU Eminence Society AGM 2017.

RIP Dr. Peter Ho

The funeral was held on 1st Dec 2023.
