ANQ Congress 2023, in Phy My, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Vietnam – Gala Dinner

Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) Congress 2023 was held by Vietnam Quality Association of Ho Chi Minh City (VQAH) in the Vabis International College, Phy My, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Vietnam from 17-20 Oct 2023. The congress theme was “Quality Transforms with A.I. Booming”.  After two days congress activities, our traditional celebration is Gala Dinner. Minda and I took a photo with Dr. Roland K. Jahnke and Mrs. Jahnke. They would visit HK after the Congress. 

Minda took a photo with Ms. Larisa Fedyk and Mr. Igor Pundel (ARR, Russian).

We met Dr Nigel Grigg (NZOQ) and Mrs. Grigg.

Then I visited different team for toasting and sharing happiness.

Mr. Igor also visited HK team for toasting.

In the beginning of gala dinner, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung (Rector, VABIS) led his students to sing ANQ first song named “Quality – A Wonderful World”. 

Then Vietnam traditional dancing was performed.

And then Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung (Rector, VABIS) led his students to sing a new song for ANQ named “ANQ Hello”.

After that each ANQ member had performed their own song.

Firstly, Dr. Panisuan Jamnarnwej (SQAT) played a harmonica for famous Chinese (Beach of Shanghai - 上海灘) and Japanese song (昴 すばる). He had studied harmonica since he was 6 years old!

Then Prof. Jeongil Choi (President, KSQM) led Korea team to sing a song.

And then Prof. Shu Yamada (JSQC) led Japanese students to sing a song.

After that I led HKSQ and invited CAQ, CSQ and SQI teams to sing a Hong Kong song named “The Pearl of Orient (東方之珠)”. And then CAQ led a song named “Auld Lang Syne (友誼地久天長)”.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung (Rector, VABIS) led his students for the last performance for Vietnam popular song.

We had a very happy night.
