Visit to Material Tech Co Ltd – Dongguan Branch for COMP Student's Capstone Project 2026

I lead my students Ms. Hui Yung Ki, Mr. CHAN Ying Wai and Mr. CHAN Chun Kit to visit the Material Tech laboratory in Dongguan (东莞市进科检测有限公司) on 21^st Oct 2026. Mr. Kevin Wong (Robot expert) led us to visit the laboratory. We took a group photo in Sheung Shui station at 7:30am. 

Then we took a high-speed railway from Shenzhen to Dongguan.

Arrived Dongguan station, we took a photo in the exit.

We arrived the Material Tech Co Ltd – Dongguan Branch.

Mr. Kevin Wong explained the Robot Arm Control System for Concrete Cube Handling and Testing.

The newly added hand components and camera are new features.

Subsequently, he demonstrated a recent operational experiment, using the Python program to control a robotic arm and a camera.

Many thanks to Kevin and Amy for their warm hospitality and for treating us to lunch in Dongguan.

Afterwards, we come back to the Dongguan Railway Station.

Finally, we took a group photo on the high-speed train back to Hong Kong.
