HKQF the 17th TIC-ITAC Meeting 2026

The 17th meeting of Industry Training Advisory Committee for Testing, Inspection & Certification Industry (TIC-ITAC) under Hong Kong Qualification Framework (HKQF) was held on 20^th Apr 2026. New and old members took a group photo for memory.

Before the meeting, I took a photo with Peggy, Steve, Felix, Raymond, Limao and Matthew.

Then Dr. Jane Wong (Chairman, HKSQ) led a group of ladies (included Peggy, Dorothy, Emmie and Stephanie) to take photos, and I also joined in for a selfie.

I took a photo with Dr. Tommy Lo too.

During the meeting, we had discussed the Vocational Qualifications Pathway (VQP).

The Hong Kong Metropolitan University’s Applied Science degree for practical route and academic route was mentioned.

Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department supported HKQF and issued training handbook for IP.

Finally, Dr. Tommy Lo introduced their new scheme for ESG maturity evaluation program. 

Moreover, they would align with Mainland China for carbon emission supervisor certification.

Lastly, the different QF levels in Guangdong Province compared with other qualifications in mainland China was mentioned.
