Department of Computing has organized briefing on
Major Selection for our students and invited academic advisors to meet academic
advisees on 17th Apr 2026. Dr. Raymond Pang, Dr. Jeff Tang and I
attended the briefing.
In the beginning, Prof. Ken Yiu introduced the time
line for selecting Major, Double Major and Minor. Then he briefed the majors in
two key programmes in COMP department.
The overview of action time was mentioned.
And then he briefed the overall curriculum in four
years studies.
For Computer Science, the core and elective subjects
were stated.
For Enterprise Information Systems, the core and
elective subjects were also mentioned.
After that the credit requirement and different
combination of Double Majors were introduced.
Finally, he briefed that there are 140-160 credits for
Double Major and close to 120 credits for Minor (But elective should be covered
18 credits).
Lastly, Dr. Raymond Pang and I took a photo with students.
