CityU EngD Society Christmas Party 2025

 The CityU Engineering Doctorate (EngD) Society Christmas Party 2025 was held on 12^th Dec 2025 at Alumni Lounge. This gathering included EngD (Chinese) classmates from mainland China. We had taken a group photo for memory.

Since I had HKSQ event in this morning, I arrived late and met Prof. Hongyi SUN (EngD Program Leader). We took a photo in front of EngD Society banner.

Prof. Rocky Lam took a photo with classmates outside the lounge. ARO representative is in the middle.

Then I took a photo with Prof. Hongyi SUN, new classmates and cohorts including Dr. TW Liu, Dr WH Leung and Dr. Szeto Wing Hong, etc. 

I enjoyed lunch and took a photo with Dr. HW Leung, Dr. Keynes Chan, Dr. Rocky Lam and Dr. Szeto Wing Hong.

I met new classmates. Mr. Anson Yeung who would join EngD Program in next year. Mr. Ricky Chow and Mr. Jimmy Po admitted in EngD 2025.

Dr. KW Liu and I took a photo with Ms. Liu Shan Laura, Mr. Lee Kwok Pong and Mr. Lee Kwok Pong.

In the beginning, Dr. Sun gave welcome speech.

And then Dr. Sun announced good news that our EngD (EM) Program awarded 2025 Greadter Bay Area Doctoral Program Excellence Model by MBAChina

The award plaque is shown in the picture below.

Then we took a picture with the award plaque.

Dr. Rocky Lam, Dr. TW Liu and I took a photo with EngD (EM) (Chinese) classmates Mr. Tang Jianbo (唐剑波) and Mr. Xiong Jiong (熊炯).

When we left, we met Mr. Tang Jianbo again. We had a very happy reunion gathering.

We also met Prof Ray CC Cheung.

Lastly, we also met retired faculties Prof. Lee Ming CHENG and Prof. YC Chan. My EPA centre colleague Mr. Matthew Tsui was here too.
