HKPC SME Index Conference – SenseTime AI Sharing

HKPC held SME Index Conference 2020 (渣打香港中小企領先營商指數 - 中小企智囊論壇2020) on 11th Nov 2020.  I would like to summarized one of speakers who was from SenseTime (商湯科技) for sharing AI application in SME.  The guest speaker was Mr. Shang Hailong (尚海龍) (GM, SenseTime) and his topic named “Human-machine concentric and swimming upstream (人機同心, 逆流而上)”.

 

Firstly, he said our behavior change because of Covid-19 such as wearing face mask, online office and public temperature measurement, etc.  How AI could help SME to create opportunities? Then he introduced the SenseThunder-E mini functionality and characteristics.  Mr. Shang added customer didn’t like to be pointed (like by gun) for temperature measurement.

One of business cases was the shopping mall application that identified crown characteristics to understand its distribution and movement paths.  Another case was intelligent hotel which employed in Singapore.

And then he briefed Intelligent Construction from auto data collection, data processing and analysis, finally to prediction that employed AI techniques. 

Finally, he introduced their other applications included AI+AR for landmarks, AI for advertisement and AI education which cooperated with HKPC for Hong Kong SME.
