COMP5133 Guest Talk for AI Safety and ISO 42001

 I was honor to be invited by Dr. Walter Fung again on 31^st May 2026 (Sunday morning) to give a talk named “Introduction to AI Safety by employing ISO 42001 – AI Management System and its Application” to his MSc student in COMP 5133 – Information Systems and E-Commerce Strategy under Master course in mainland China.

I briefed some cases about AI safety and then introduced ISO 42001 AI Management System and its requirements. Finally, I showed some additional information about the integration among ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 56001 Innovation Management System and ISO 42001 to form the AI Innovation Management System (AIIM). Lastly, I demonstrated my student’s capstone projects employed AI (especially, visual computing).
