I am glad to joint the EngD Graduation Dinner 2010 tonight. There were seven EngD graduates in 2010.
Dr. Rocky Lam was MC tonight and he introduced the program of this EngD Graduation Dinner.
Dr. David Chung (Chairman of EngD Society) gave an opening speech to us.
Then Dr. Kamineni P. Rao (Acting Head of MEEM) gave a speech to encourage the EngD candidates.
The MEEM EngD program leader Dr. Hongyi Sun gave an overall speech on how EngD linked between academic and industry.
After that the keynote speech session started.
Mr. Chung Kin-Man (Owner, Hong Kong Mountaineering Training Centre) gave us a talk entitled “From aimless teen to top of the world”.

After he overcame this mountain and then he returned to
Then he overcame “Seven continents highest peak”.
Some photos showed the real situations (Very dangerous!)
Chinese Certification issued to recognize Mr. Chung’s activities.
Then he planed to 7+2 where 2 meaning Arctic (北極) and Antarctic (南極). The following photo showed in Antarctic.
After the talk, we took a group photo with professors and classmates.

I shared the experience on the study of EngD since 2005.
Then I presented a souvenir to Dr. K.S. Chin.
The last session, Mr. Peter Ho introduced the CityU Alumni Association for connecting us to contribute to CityU activities.
Dr. Raymond Leung added the Scholarship for student participated voluntary work.
All graduate cheered for this dinner.
