Per Prof. SP Kuan (官生平) introduced Mr. Patrick Chiu (Founder &
President, Hong Kong Society for The History of Pharmacy) to Hong Kong Society for
Quality (HKSQ), we arranged a meeting in our former Chairman Dr. Aaron Tong’s
office (TQM Consultants Company Ltd.) for a short discussion. We took a group
photo for memory.

Then we introduced HKSQ to Patrick Chiu and he shared
his experience about the history of pharmacy in HK and Waston’s management strategy.
Finally, we invited him to give a talk about Waston quality
management in our coming AGM seminar. We
presented our publication including 35th anniversary book, Extenics:
Logic of Innovation, Quality Alchemist and TQM to Mr. Partick Chiu. And we
appreciated his book named “Transformation from Colonial Chemist to Global
Health and Beauty Retailer – A S Watson”.
Mr. Patrick Chiu is Prof. SP Kuan’s younger sister's
husband (妹夫). Prof. Kuan had presented
in the first World Summit for Chinese Quality (WSCQ) in CityU on 8 July 2016.
After the meeting and tea, Minda and I back to Exhibition Centre Station (港鐵會展站) and took a photo in front of the bombs
which discovered at the station work site.
