TQM Uz – 2012 is an International Quality Forum in Uzbekistan which is initiated by the Uzbek Agency for Standardization Metrology and Certification (UZSTANDARD) and the International Association of Quality Managers and Auditors (IAQMA) on April 25 - 27, 2012 Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
"UZSTANDARD" agency as a national body for standardization, metrology and certification provides means for implementing national policy in the fields of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment, and carries out state supervision, as well as represents the country's interests within international and regional organizations for standardization. In 1992, due to the independence by the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek State Centre for Standardization, Metrology and Certification under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (UZGOSTANDART) was formed. At the same time, the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted the Law "On standardization", which defined the further development of the standardization system in the country.
The mission of IAQMA - Kazakhstan is to promote quality management, standardization and business excellence in both Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan (Central Asia) through a number of various activities with the aim to improve global competitiveness of domestic companies and organizations as well as life quality of the society.The vision of IAQMA is an efficient hub for dissemination of the global best quality and sustainability practices and approaches in the Central Asian Region.
IAQMA is member of Asia Network for Quality (ANQ) and the coming ANQ Congress 2012 will be held in Hong Kong.
