The Hong Kong
Food Hygiene Administrators Association (HKFHAA) is hosting for the second time
for Health Study Undergraduates from Queensland University of Technology, QUT,
Australia on their Government Funding Scheme (the New Colombo Plan) to visit
Hong Kong. Hong Kong Science Park is one
of selected place to be visited to broaden students’ views I the science and
technological development in Hong Kong.
We took a group photo in the lobby.
Mr. Ronald Lau
(Chairman, Hong Kong Food Hygiene Administrators Association) is the team leader
and I introduced my colleague Adeline who is International Business Development
team to Ronald for further cooperation.
In the
beginning, I introduced Hong Kong Science Park vision and mission,
as well as our 3C approach (Connect, Collaborate and Catalyze). Then I briefed the laboratory facilities
before visit.
The first
location was Reliability Laboratory.
Many ovens and different reliability were explained to students.
Then we
visited IC Failure Analysis Laboratories.
The X-ray inspection equipment demonstrated the inside structure of
earphone.
After that we
visited Biotech Centre and explained different equipment for biotechnology, pharmaceutical
and genomics applications.
At the end, we
took a group photo in front of the cleanroom under Probe and Test Development
Centre which mainly serviced for IC and wafer industry.
