Then I briefed HKSTP quality management system and some laboratories in Technology Support Centre (TSC) to students, including ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 certification, as well as, HOKLAS (ISO 17025) accreditation. After that, students visited our different laboratories such as Reliability Laboratory (RL), IC Failure Analysis Laboratory (ICFAL), Biotechnology Support Laboratory (BSL) and Probe and Test Development Centre (PTDC).
In Reliability Laboratory (RL), I explained the laboratory quality requirements and introduced different reliability testing equipment.
Dr. Suk Joo Bae translated to Korean language for more details explanation.
Then we went out the IC Development Centre and went to BioTech Centre 1.
We visited the IC Failure Analysis Laboratory (ICFAL) for material analysis and I stated some critical equipment such as XPS, Scanning Electronic Microscope, FTIR, etc.
After that we visited the Biotech Support Centre and observed our DNA sequencer equipment. I also explained our Microbiology Laboratory requirements.
We then took a group photo in front of clean room in Probe and Test Development Centre (PTDC).
After visited different laboratory, we visited the Charles K. Kao Auditorium (Golden Egg) and took a photo inside the auditorium.
I led them to visit the guest room in the auditorium and they could look outside scene in the room.
At the end. we took a group photo with the Charles K. Kao Auditorium (Golden Egg) as background for memory.
