The
IAQ General Meeting was held on 20th Sep 2024 in JUSE, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo,
Japan. After completed ANQ technical visit, we went to JUSE office for
attending IAQ General Meeting. Minda and I took a photo in front of the Union
of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) for memory.
When
I arrived, it is the last part of keynote speech. In the morning, Mr. Shinichi
Sasaki was the first keynote and his topic entitled “JKK Initiatives at Toyota
corresponding to changing Social & Customer Needs”. Afternoon, Dr. Nicole
Radziwill was the second keynote and her topic named “Quality-Driven AI: Pioneering
a New Age of Digital Excellence”.
I met
many friends and took a photo during break.

The
third keynote was Prof. Hiroe Tsubaki and his presentation topic was “Quality
Management of AI & AI for Quality Management”. He discussed “Actionable
Knowledge from Data” that data are for prediction and action.
Finally,
Prof. Hiroe Tsubaki employed PDCA Daily Management Cycle together with QC Story
for Kaizen that named “Deming-Ishikawa’s Dual Management Cycles” for problem
solving. He then mentioned necessary quality management of data production
process and improving through ISO 20252:2019 (Market, opinion and social
research, including insights and data analytics — Vocabulary and service
requirements).
Many
academicians attended the meeting and discussed.
Acn.
Lars Sörqvist (President, IAQ) joined panel discussion online.
And
then Prof. Yukihiro Ando employed ChatGPT (GenAI) to define good AI required
good data and then discussed the result with keynotes.
Prof.
Kano gave his comments and discussed with other participants.
Finally,
JUSE introduced the coming ICQ 2025 would be held on 1-4 Sep 2025 in Bellesalle
Shinjuku Grand.
Lastly,
Mr. Shinichi Sasaki (Chair of IAQ, President of JUSE) gave closing meeting
remarks.

that we went to the restaurant named “Neboke” which provided traditional Japanese
food.
