ANQ Congress 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand – Technical Visit

Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) Congress 2019 was held by Standard and Quality Association of Thailand (SQAT) in The Berkeley Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand from 21-25 Oct 2019. The congress theme was “Quality Innovation for Sustainability”.  The ANQ Congress 2019 – Technical Visit to CPRAM was held on 25^th Oct 2019.  We took a group photo in front of the CPRAM brand for memory.

In the early Morning, we had breakfast at 6:00am with Mr. Kenneth Liang and Mrs. Alice Liang. 

Singapore team and Hong Kong team went together at 7:00am.

Then we arrived the CPRAM Innovation Centre.

Firstly, we had tea time and enjoyed CPRAM products.  

And then we went to the conference hall and CPRAM representative (top management) gave an introduction to us.  He told us that CPRAM standing for Creativity, Productivity, Relationship, Attitude and Moral.  

Near 30 participants from different countries (e.g. Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, India, etc.) joined this visit.

A video was played for introducing a general background of CPRAM.

After that their management principles and business objective were briefed.

We went to visit their exhibition room and factory production line.  In the entry, we saw a big bread on the top and I selfie with Minda for it.

CPRAM started to promote robotic in their production.

Some demonstration of equipment were shown.  

We visited their Smart Office. 

Minda studied their food package for microwave.  One of patent they got was released the vapour during microwave heating.

I took a photo with CPRAM Transformation Roadmap from 2018 to 2022.

We also visited Micro Laboratory and Physical Laboratory.

We had a nice lunch in CPRAM (Japanese style).

Then I took a photo with Mr. GE Tan (SQI) and Mr. Duc Tran Hai (VQAH).

After that we come back to the conference hall and they presented the CPRAM Sustainability Roadmap 2018 – 2022. And introduced Leader of 3S that were Food Safety, Food Sustainability and Food Security.

Lastly, they introduced their projects for society and community. 

Prof. Phulporn added that CPRAM sponsored 40 poor students to study in their factory annually.  So that those students learn skill and knowledge about food industry and assisted their career in the future.

Prof. Phulporn presented a souvenir to the representative of CPRAM.

I represented HKSQ to present our 30^th anniversary book and highlight to CPRAM.  

Then we all took a group photo.

Before we left, we got a souvenir too.

We appreciated Prof. Phulporn arrangement and she went to the hotel with us and then drive her Benz to go home.

At night, we joined Dr. KS Chin and Mrs. Chin to have dinner in the top of Baiyoke Sky Hotel.

We had a buffet first.

And then we went to the top for sightseeing.  Minda and I took a photo with balloon.  

We arrived the 84/F.

Since the top platform moved a circle about 10 min, I recorded part of it for memory.

In next day, I took a photo of Baiyoke Sky Hotel we had dinner before went to the airport.
