The 19th National Extenics Annual Conference and the Forum on
Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Creativity Education in the Digital Age (“全国第19届可拓学年会”暨“数智时代的创新创业创造教育论坛”) were organized by Chinese
Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) (中国人工智能学会) and Extenics Professional Committee
of CAAI (中国人工智能学会可拓学专业委员会), Southwest Jiaotong University (西南交通大学), Research Institute of Extenics and
Innovation Methods, GDUT (廣東工業大學可拓學與創新方法研究所), etc. from 15th to 17th Aug 2025. The
day 2 is Extenics Sub-forum (可拓学分论坛) and I attended the Extenics Sub-forum (2): Extenics
Application and Innovation Practice Forum (可拓学分论坛(2):可拓学应用与创新实践论坛).
Dr. Jyayung.Gwo (郭嘉詠), Ms. Peng Lishi (彭丽诗) and I were speakers in this forum.
Prof. Li Xingsen (李兴森) gave opening remarks.
Prof. Li Li (李莉) (中国人工智能学会可拓学专业委员会副秘书长、上海对外经贸大学副教授) was chaired this forum.
The first speaker was Mr. He Yongjie (何永杰) for Mr. Mo Shuangqing (么双庆) (国度人工智能科技有限公司) to present Mr. Mo’s topic named “Extension
Thinking Method of Wood Culture Creative Economy” (木文化创意经济的可拓思维方法).
Mr. He briefed the basic-element of wood culture and its extension
thinking.
Finally, Mr. He introduced the extension business basic-element
management model (可拓經營基元管理模型).
I (黎剑虹) (香港理工大学) was the second speaker and my topic entitled “The Origin of
Extenics-Related Contradiction Research and Its Development in Hong Kong
Universities” (可拓学有关矛盾研究的追本索源及在香港的大学中推展状况).
Firstly, I briefed and compared the definitions of contradiction
among “On Contradiction”, “Extenics” and “TRIZ” in which I employed some case
studies as examples.
Finally, I reviewed how City University of Hong Kong and Hong
Kong Polytechnic University have promoted Extenics through various courses
accredited by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. I consolidated the
three-day Level 1 course into a three-hour lecture introducing Extenics and
having them design new products. Since 2020, Extenics has been promoted to over
a thousand students.
Dr. Jyayung.Gwo (郭嘉詠) (广州可拓学信息科技有限公司) was the third speaker and her
presentation title was “Research on the Dual-core Driving Mechanism of Extension
Psychological Counseling under the AI Environment” (人工智能环境下可拓心理咨询的双核驱动机制研究)
She reviewed different scholars’ study on the combination
between Extenics and Psychnology.
Lastly, Dr. Gwo introduced the dual-core drive model of
extension psychological cousnselling.
Ms. Peng Lishi (彭丽诗) (广州可拓学信息科技有限公司) was the fourth speaker in this
session and her topic named “Extension-structured Prompt Engineering: an Innovative
Path for Human-Machine Collaborative Creation in AIGC and the Self-media Industry”
(可拓结构化提示词工程:AIGC与自媒体行业人机协同创作的创新路径).
Then she employed digital Lishi to present some topics.
And the Ms. Peng introduced Extension Structured Prompt
Engineering (ESPE) that made AIGC more efficiency.
Then Dr. Gao Chang (高畅) (广东工业大学可拓学与创新方法研究所讲师、中国科学院大学与丹麦奥尔堡大学联合培养博士) chaired the coming session.
The fifth speaker was Mr. Jia Kemin (贾克敏) (国家能源集团) and his presentation topic was “A
Brief Discussion on Sectoral Portraits and Extenics Applications in the
Development of the Belt and Road Initiative” (一带一路开发中的界别画像与可拓学应用浅谈).
Mr. Jia introduced how Extenics employed to solve the
contradiction of overseas direct investment (ODI).
The sixth speaker was Ms. Kang Yanyan (康燕燕) (国度人工智能科技有限公司) and her topic named “The Integrated Application
of Extension Thinking in Lawyers' Practice based on the Perspective of Legal Practice”
(可拓思维在律师执业中的融合应用—基于法律实践的视角).
Firstly, Ms. Kang briefed the three key challenges in traditional
thinking of legal career.
She then tried to combine extension thinking with lawyer’s
mission.
During the break, I went to the Extenics Sub-forum (1): Extenics
Theory and Method Research Forum (可拓学分论坛(1): 可拓学理论与方法研究论坛). Prof. Tang Long (汤龙) chaired this session.
The first speaker after the break was Mr. Zhang Jiarui (张家瑞) (大连海事大学) and his presentation named “Improvement
and Application of Closed System SEIR Epidemic Model based on Matter-element Extension
Theory” (基于物元可拓理论的封闭系统SEIR传染病模型改进及其应用).
Mr. Zhang employed Extenics matter-element model to solve the
SEIR epidemic problem.
Mr. Wu Wenli (吳汶立) (广州新华学院) was the second speaker and his topic entitled “Research on
the Integration of Extension Innovation Method and Six Sigma in Product Design”
(可拓创新方法与六西格玛在产品设计中的融合研究).
Mr. Wu proposed to combine extesnion innovation method and
design for six sigma (EIM-DFSS) approach for new product design. Finally, he
used bluetooth earphone as example to demonstrate its application.
The third speaker was Ms. Yang Lingzhi (阳灵芝) (贵州大学) and her presentation title was “Research
on the Optimization of Private High School Operating Model based on SWOT and Extension
Innovation Methods” (基于SWOT和可拓创新方法的民办高中办学模式优化研究).
She tried to employ extension innovation method into SWOT and
then analysis high school for optimization.
The forth speaker was Mr. Qin Yide (秦益德) (贵州大学) and his topic was “Extension Evaluation
and Influencing Factors Analysis of College Students' Acceptance of Intelligent
Physical Fitness Test Model” (高校学生对智能体测模式接受度的可拓评价及影响因素分析).
He briefed the steps to establish the extension model for
evaluation.
Prof. Li Li (李莉) (上海对外经贸大学) was the fifth speaker and her presentation topic named “Using
Extension Logic to Resolve Paradoxes” (运用可拓逻辑消解悖论).
Firstly, Prof. Li Li briefed different types of paradoxes and
its characteristics.
And then she demonstrated different examples and employed
extension logic to solve it.
The sixth speaker was Prof. He Bin (何斌) (广东工业大学) and his presentation was “Environmental
Transformation and the Ternary Problem Model” (环境变换与三元问题模型).
Prof. He Bin employed “Mencius' Mother Moves Three Times” (孟母三迁) to explain three dimensions for
extension model and they were “Goal”, “Limitation” and “Environment”. Finally,
he added Tactics (T) to be four dimensions model (G*L*E, T).
The last speaker was Mr. Wu Zhengyang (吴正洋) (上海对外经贸大学) and his presenation title named “Extension
Recommondation Model and Method based on Complex Network” (基于复杂网络的可拓推荐模型与方法).
Mr. Wu used extension model for dual network recommendation
model that could generate different recommendation strategies.
Before session closed, team of Guangdong University of

I would like to appreciate Prof. Zhou Xianyong (周贤永) (西南交通大学公共管理学院) for giving me his book named “Theory
and Method of Technological Innovation: TRIZ and Extenics Integration Model” (技术创新理论与方法:TRIZ和可拓学集成模式).
During lunch break, I walked to canteen with Mr. Zhao Shaofei (赵少飞) (广东工业大学学报副主编).
I met a new friend Mr. Wu Yin (伍印) (青少年创客空间®成都践习科技有限公司).
After that we joined Working Meeting of the Extenics
Professional Committee of the CAAI (中国人工智能学会可拓学专业委员会工作会议) and Working Meeting of full-time
and part-time staff of the Institute of Extenics and Innovation Methods of
Guangdong University of Technology (广东工业大学可拓学与创新方法研究所专兼职人员工作会议).
The working meeting was online and offline together.
In the beginning, Prof. Zhang Lingling (张玲玲) presented the Special Committee
Work Report
One of the future
plans is to strengthen academic exchanges internationally and between Hong
Kong, Macau and Taipei.
We all focused on the reported activities and discuss how to
improve it. And then Prof. Shen Chao (沈超) (中国人工智能学会组织工委副主任) discussed Extenics Development and gave
guidance online.
Then Ms. Li Xuelian (李雪莲) (CAAI会刊《智能系统学报》编辑部主任) introduced CAAI Journal "智能系统学报" and notes on submissions. She
briefed the development history of the journal.
Finally, she mentioned top 10 reasons for rejection as follow
diagram.
Before finished the working meetings, we took a group photo for memory.

Then Prof. Tang Long (汤龙) (中国人工智能学会可拓学专业委员会副秘书长) summarized the meeting.

After the meeting, I made a quick visit to Emeishan Baoguo
Temple (峨眉山--报国寺), which is within walking distance of campus.

On 18 Aug 2025, I call the taxi to go to the Emeishan station
(峨眉山站).
I met Prof. Li Chunbin (李春斌) (大连民族大学) and we went to the station together.
Our train is on 8:08am.
When I queue, I met Mr. He Yongjie (何永杰) and Mrs. He.
On the Metro, I saw a very well-designed child seat suitcase.
After arriving at the airport, I took a photo with the panda
sculpture.
Back to HK!
To my surprise, I met my colleague Prof. Li Bo on the same
flight.
