On
17th April 2019, we planned to visit the Memorial Hall of the
Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders (侵华日军南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念馆) and the Confucius Temple (南京夫子庙). I went out the campus and found the poster
named “Salute to Mr. Lu Xun!”
The building named Xingyun Building (星雲樓).
Master
Xingyun (星雲大師) sculpture was found inside the building. My mother like to follow him
for Buddhism.
In this time, I passed the College of Chemistry and Chemical Industry.
We outside campus from another door and found that the previous name of Nanjing University was “National Central University (國立中央大學)”.
Then we passed the Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
I
took a photo in front of their Motto “勵學篤行” (Study Hard and Behavior Sincerely).
A
very beautiful library was observed.
Then
I arrived the the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese
Invaders (侵华日军南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念馆). A
large memorial sculpture was located in front of entry.
Many sculptures were demonstrated the victims during Japanese invasion.
Victim
number was upto three hundred thousand (300,000)!
Some
wall recorded victims’ name.

We
then went into the Meditation Hall.
Outside
the hall, a victory wall was saw and peace sculpture was located in the center.
Many
students were visited the Memorial Hall and took a group photo in front of
peace sculpture. It is a good national
education.
After
that we visited the three victories hall.
The outside design was like a horseshoe (馬蹄鐵).

three victories were Justice, Peace and People.
The road showed the year and the wall mentioned the history.
Japan
invasion started in 1937.
Some
photos demonstrated Japanese Militarism.
Military banknote was showed but Japan hadn’t paid back to victims until now.
The
photos showed the victory of Sino-Japanese War.
The middle photo was very valuable that both parties’ leaders in China
jointly celebrated the victory.
At
the end, all leader in China was showed.
After
that we went to visit the Confucius Temple (南京夫子庙).
I
took a photo of the whole map of the Confucius Temple Scenic Area.
One
of key concept under Confucius is propriety (禮).
I
took a photo in front of the Confucius sculpture.

A
beautiful Qinhuai River (秦淮河) which I studied from Chinese book during secondary school.
You
can rental a boat and travel the river.
Some performances were showed along the river.
We
had lunch in Nanjing city in this afternoon and cooking fish was tried.
