Hong Kong Trainer Centre
(HKTC) (香港培訓師中心) and Hong Kong Association of Staff and Workers
Education and Vocational Training (HKASWEVT) (香港職工教育及職業培訓協會) arranged a visit to the Shenzhen Institute of Technology (深圳技師學院) on 7th
May 2019. Thanks for Mr. Ng Kwong Sun,
Sam (Chairman, HKASWEVT) arranged and invited me to join this visit.
We arrived and took a group photo in front of the campus with Mr. Zhang
Dongfeng (張東風).

Terence KS Wong (Course Development Director, Hong Kong Association of Staff
and Workers Education and Vocational Training).
Whole view of the campus
Firstly, we visited Laser Technology Application Center.
Some students’ products
were demonstrated.
CNC training was observed
and many CNC machine included 3 axis and 5 axis.
Then we visited Sino-German
Institute of Smart Technology (中德智造學院).
Robot arms training were
showed.
They cooperated with KEPLER and Christiani.
Student’s environment was
very good.
All tools used 5S
management.
Then we took a photo in
front of the poster of Guangdong-Hong
Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
After that we visited the
tea training center.
We tasted the students’ tea.
Finally, we visited the
Virtual Business Society Practice Center (虚拟商业社会实训中心) under
International Business Department.
The teaching environment simulated as a company operation.
Eventhough the business
document, cheque, invoice, etc. are worked as business operation.
At the end, we had a meeting
to exchanging ideas. They introduced
that junior student studied for 5 years and high school student studied 3 years
in the institute. Under Police of Guangdong-Hong
Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, they would like to enhance cooperation with Hong
Kong and Macao. Shenzhen Institute of
Technology (深圳技師學院) is focused on top enterprise cooperation and
co-training program for student such enterprises included Huawei, Tencent, BYD,
etc. They developed many new training on
internet, cloud computing and 3D printing, etc.
Their aims are to have one examination with multiple certificates.
Mr. Ng Kwong Sun, Sam
(Chairman, HKASWEVT) said it had better to form GBA office for coordination and
training for teachers could be considered.
Lastly, Representative of Shenzhen Institute of Technology suggested to
arrange a summit with top enterprise in Shenzhen in Oct 2019.

At the end, we took a group photo and then had lunch together.
