Minda and I joined the trip
to visit to Myanmar (緬甸) organized by Candy’s Travel Limited from 21st
to 25th Nov 2018. The travel agency
(Carman Mok) is our friend and we always asked her for help to arrange
different trip in China.
Day 2 (20181123)
In
second day, we had a local Chinese as our travel guide named “Lok Lok”(樂樂). Her face cream is traditional vegetable juice
to prevent sunshine.
Firstly, we visited Jade
& Jewellery Company that was travel agenda because Myanmar Jade is very
famous.
Some animal jades were
introduced with different combination for lucky.
After lunch, we visited Kuaktan
Pagoda (蓬萊仙島水中佛寺).
We got on the boat and went
to the island.
Inside the boat, Pat and Aaron seat at the end.
I recorded a short video for
this trip.
I hit the bell.
Minda washed her foot.
One type of Buddha raised
his head.
Many people pray in front of the Jade Buddha (玉佛).
It seems King and Queen.
Another Jade Buddha we saw.
We had took a group photo
with Jade Buddha.
Many people feed the
fish.
We were going back to the
bus.
Before that Minda and I enjoyed
the coconut juice.
After dinner, we went back
to the hotel and musician played violin to welcome us.
Day 3 (20181124)
We wake up very early today
to go to the Kyaiktiyo
Pagoda (大金石) . It is a granite boulder that stands on the edge
of a cliff. The surface of the granite
boulder is covered with gold foil.
We got on the truck with 40 people!
Pat and Aaron climbed on
the truck.
Minda and I also climbed on
the truck.
In the middle, some
donation stations were established and location people were selling water and
soft drink.
After thousand turns, we
arrived the top of hill.
Man power transportation is
provided if need.
We took a photo with Carman
in front of the entre.

Minda and I saw the small
one and took a photo.
The whole view was taken.
The real one is very big!
Only man can enter the Golden
Granite Boulder.
At the end of the Kyaiktiyo
Pagoda, a village was there.
There were several hotels
and we had a coffee there.
My Mocha is very special
that the chocolate melt slowly.
We saw a cable car here but
no people inside. It may be under
testing and has not opened yet.
Going to the next sightseeing, we saw a village ceremony.
Next view was “One Thousand
Monks Alms” (千僧化緣). However,
there was a festival in this few days and most of monks were not in the temple.
So that we just visited the
temple.
We saw old style cooking
using wood. They prepared food for next
day.
Our teammate tried the local
food.

Finally, we went to dinner
and back to hotel at night. It needs
~4hr to go to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (大金石) and ~4hr to
come back! The last day was free
agenda. I planned to go to the
University of Yangon.
