We
are honor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Tung who is exco member of Vietnam Quality Association
of Ho Chi Minh City (VQAH) visit City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 10th
May 2023. Dr. Jane and I met Dr. Nguyen in front of CityU main entry and took a
photo for memory.
Then
I led Dr. Nguyen to our department classroom and introduced the Department of Systems
Engineering (SYE) (previous names are MEEM, SEEM and ADSE). I briefed the BEng,
MSc, EngD and PhD/MPhil programmes to Dr. Nguyen.
And
then Dr. Jane Wong (Chairman, HKSQ) introduced Hong Kong Society for Quality
(HKSQ) and our different activities.
After
the introduction, we took a group photo for memory. I represented SYE dept and
Jane represented HKSQ.
Finally,
we visited CityU’s CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre.
We
took a photo in front of wind power demonstration model.
Dr.
Nguyen and I took a photo in front of Daya Bay Pressurized Water Reactor model.
Then I led him to CityU souvenir shop. I gave CityU T-shirt and Tiger pin as gifts
for his memory.
Lastly,
we had lunch in Chinese restaurant in Festival Walk. At the end, we led Dr.
Nguyen to take a Taxi back to Sheraton Hotel.
After
lunch, Jane and I went to our accountant (Maggie) to sign the audit report.
