CityU Inno-preneurship Mentoring Scheme Dinner

I was honor to be invited by CityU Knowledge Transfer Office as Inno-preneurship mentor to assist our junior cohort especially in BCH Department. The Inno-preneurship Mentoring Scheme is exclusive for CityU communities who desire to turn their creative ideas into start-ups. This scheme has different support included Innovation to Realization Funding Scheme (I2RF), Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU), Student Early Entrepreneurship Development Scheme (SEEDS) and CityUE Investment Fund. I was assigned as mentor to Hands Life Science and met the CEO Mr. Marco So who had just graduate in BCH Department, CityU. We took a photo for memory.

Mr. David Ai (Director of Knowledge Transfer Office, CityU) gave a welcome speech and he appreciated all participants’ contribution on Inno-preneurship mentoring scheme, as well as, CityU Eminence Society (CityUES) sponsored this dinner. I remembered we met several time and the most recently was in the Launch Ceremony of CityU Innopreneurship Ecosystem on 23rd Nov 2015. HKSTP was one of partners to support CityU Community.

Dr. Gary Cheng (Deputy Chairman, CityUES) gave a speech and introduced CityU Eminence Society which is an independent registered organization formed by enthusiastic and supportive alumni who are committed to contributing their expertise and resources for the betterment of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and the community.

Then we took a group photo for memory. I also met Dr. Rocky Lam (CityUES committee member and CityU EngD Society former chairman) and his friend Mr. Peter YF Chan (Parnter, Assurance, EY).

After that we shared our experience to junior alumni and young Inno-preneurs. I also learnt much from other mentors such as Mr. Measure KF Hung (Chairman, Mobicon), Mr. Steven Fung (Partner, Marks&Clerk HongKong) and Ms. Oliva Wong & Ms. Catherine Mak in my table.
