Mr. Allen Yeung (VP – BDTS Division, HKSTPC) gave a welcome speech and introduced the activities of HKSTPC including incubation programmes, laboratories and infrastructure support. The main theme of the visit would be 'An overview of share facilities for testing and certification industry provided by the Government', but of course inclusion of other interesting technology and program developed in HKSTP such as 3D Printing and Incu-App Centre.

I would like to introduce IAF and ANAB below.
The IAF is the world association of Conformity Assessment Accreditation Bodies and other bodies interested in conformity assessment in the fields of management systems, products, services, personnel and other similar programmes of conformity assessment. Its primary function is to develop a single worldwide program of conformity assessment which reduces risk for business and its customers by assuring them that accredited certificates may be relied upon. Accreditation assures users of the competence and impartiality of the body accredited.
A non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides accreditation services to public- and private-sector organizations under the ACLASS, ANAB, and FQS brands, the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board is jointly owned by the American National Standards Institute and the American Society for Quality.
After that we visited our Reliability Laboratory and introduced two new 3D printers. Mr. YC Lee (Senior Manager, TSC) briefed the operation of powder plastic 3D printer which in clear area (avoid powder dispersed to other areas).
Another 3D printer used liquid form of plastic glue.
Finally, we visit our Incu-App Centre which was our new program to support App start-up in Hong Kong.
