Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Corporation is delighted to present “Phaeodaria” as the second project under “Art in the Park” to promote creativity with technology among local community.
“Phaeodaria” is an artwork installed light-emitting diode (LED) panels by Mr. Teddy Lo, who is a local artist and recognized for pioneering “Tech-Art”. Phaeodaria’s feature is a geodesic dome that is 8 metres in diameter, the interior is equipped with motion sensors that are connected to LED lighting, the colours of which can be changed by the movement of those inside the dome. Moreover, the LEDs respond to telecommunication frequencies and radiation including GSM, SMS and Wi-Fi signals externally.

Lights will be on from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on weekday; and from 12:00pm to 10:00pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
