Division, HKIE) and I)
I also met Mr. David
Chung (President, The Hong Kong Institute of Business Innovation (HKIBI)).
In the beginning, Mr. Kenneth Chau (Past TIN
Chairman) gave welcome speech. He
appreciated HKSTP and all Incubatees (included graduates) to support their
common goal that was to do good thing for Hong Kong Technology. Moreover, he shared their objectives in last
2 years that was BAT indicating Business, Alumni and Technology.
Then Mr. Torin Fung (TIN Chairman) shared his ideas. He wished that HKSTP continuously support TIN and he expected to arrange more activities for TIN members as one of key directions. So it could enhance the business synergy. Therefore, the objectives of TIN would be BATS.

speech. Albert said that don’t focus on
HKSTP Corporation but focus on Hong Kong Science Park. It has already been a famous Brand. Incubatees in Science Park were recognized as

Hong Kong Science Park. In 1988, Dr. Lo
represented industries to suggest the establishment of Hong Kong Science Park
to Industry Department. But Government’s
consultation report was negative because the consultants hadn’t considered the
mainland China factor for manpower support and market demand. Then they proposed again and again in 1991
and 1994, respectively. Until 1997, CE
adopted their suggestion and established Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks
Corporation. Dr. Lo also introduced this
project to public in Sha Tin Distinct.
Finally, he said cluster was very important for Science Park that
