The 3rd Chinese Quality Forum – Day 3 Work Meeting & Visit TusPark

The 3nd Chinese Quality Forum (CQF) was organized by China Association for Quality (CAQ) in 2015. It is honor that CAQ arranged the forum together with China Quality Award from 4 to 5 Nov 2015. Then we had a CQF work meeting on 6 Nov 2015 for formation of World Alliance for Chinese Quality (WACQ). We discussed the details on Role and Responsibilities of each organization and decision the Chinese and English name of this alliance below. Prof. Tang Xiaoqing (唐曉青) (Professor & VP, Beihang University) chaired the meeting.

We decided the named of this alliance to be “World Alliance for Chinese Quality (WACQ)” (全球華人品質聯盟). The first WACQ Forum will be held in July in Hong Kong.

During the tea break, I took a photo with Prof. Tang Xiaoqing (唐曉青). We had visit Beihang University in 2001.

Prof. Tang introduced Beihang University to us in 2001.

Dr. Aaron Tong and Dr. KS Chin presented HKSQ flag to Prof. Tang.

I took a photo with the demonstrated aeroplane and its control room.

After the 3th CQF, I (HKSTP) arranged a visit to TusPark – Tsinghua University Science Park (清華科技園) for HKSQ members. I took a photo of TusPark buildings outside.

In the beginning, Ms. Sophia Shang (Foreign Affairs Manager, TusPark) introduced the whole building of TusPark.

Then Ms. Shang introduced the whole development history of TusPark to us.

In 2015, TusPark (Hong Kong) was officially launched as the biggest independent science park in Hong Kong.

Their President Mr. Wang Jiwa was also invited to attend Hong Kong Chief Executive Receptions.

Then she showed a video for introducing TusPark and some of their success tenants’ comments. At the end of the video, two mottos were showed below.
