Activities Summary 2024

I would like to summarize all quality, innovation and AI related activities I participated in 2024 as follows.  One of my major achievements is continued for the Advanced Classes of “I Ching (易經)”. I Ching Class arranged a trip to go to Prof. Pang’s house for Christmas Concert named “易經班-彭教授中山戌時音樂會” on 27^th Dec 2024.

總結對可拓學推動的貢獻與成果2024

I would like to summarize my contribution on “Extenics” in 2024. I attended the 9th World Summit of Chinese Quality on 29-30^th Aug 2024. 

My conference paper named“New Quality Productive Force”(革故鼎新 -「新質生產力」).

I employed I Ching management philosophy into New Quality Productive Force and used Huawei digital transformation as case study. 

The last part mentioned extenics theory and its diamond thinking. CAQ selected my paper to publish in their journal named “China Quality” in Oct 2024.

In 2024, I involved Extension Innovation Method as group project for the following teaching courses.

PolyU Year End Party 2024 cum Soft Opening of “U GARDEN”

The Year End Party 2024 cum Soft Opening of “U GARDEN” was held on 30^th Dec 2024 in PolyU. Our teaching team member (Dr. Raymond Pang, Dr. Kevin Yuen, Dr. Jeff Tang and I) took a group photo with I love PolyU logo.

There has large Jenga for students playing. Dr. Walter Fung was very interested to play it.

Many different food stations for your selection.

But it needs to wait long time!

After the long queue, we all got the food.

And then we joined the soft opening celebration of “U GARDEN”. 

All guests and top management of PolyU performed the celebration.

After the opening celebration, I went to the outside of U GARDEN.

We enjoyed the light dinner here.

We saw guests and President walked outside the restaurant toward our table!

Finally, we visited the “U GARDEN” restaurant and song performed there.

During Year End Party 2024, many different music performances were showed in different places in PolyU

Finally, Dr. Henry Chan led the song for PolyU. Jeff recorded part of songs below.

I Ching Class Christmas Concert to Zhongshan (易經班-彭教授中山戌時音樂會)

I Ching Class arranged a trip to go to Prof. Pang’s house for Christmas Concert on 27^th Dec 2024. The group photo was taken during the concert for memory. About 20 I Ching classmates and 20 Prof. Pang’s family and friends to join the concert. 

Day 1 (26 Dec 2024)

Minda and I went to Zhongshan on 26^th Dec 2024 and visited the surrounding of the hotel “SHERATON”.

We had late lunch on that day and the steak and fish are good taste.

Then we rode Ferris wheel.

We took photo when the Ferris wheel in the top.

After that we walked around and saw many buildings and sculpture related to Sun Yat-sen.

We also saw traditional dessert making.

Day 2 (27 Dec 2024)

The next day, we took a group photo with the military students in the hotel lobby. I bought some models of fighter jets.

Then Mind and I had a walk in Yat-sen Garden.

We saw a protected tower.

And then we had lunch with Prof. Pang and I Ching classmates in restaurant (海港城海鮮大酒樓).

We had fruitful lunch together.

After the lunch, we visited Prof. Pang’s house.

Patrick Lui, Unix, Minda and I played the pickleball together.

Karen and Patrick Ng were against Kinsen and So Easy.

In the beginning, Prof. Pang demonstrated how to play pickleball.

Then another team played table tennis.

And then we tried the golf.

Prof. Pang also demonstrated the boxing.

Unix, Minda, Pauline and Eva decorated Christmas tree.

After that we played the Poker with special rules.

Then we visited Prof. Pang’s library.

After that we had dinner together. We took a group photo with I Ching (易經) folding fan and Chinese folding fan with the word “法財侶地”.

Finally, we returned to Prof. Pang’s house for fortune telling first.

Then we started the concert named “彭教授中山戌時音樂會”. The banner was designed by Karen, Patrick and Kinsen. Minda and I took a photo when it set up.

The first song is "Below the Lion Rock" (獅子山下).

Karen asked us to install the Apps named “LED” and to be fans!

Christmas gift lottery, Prof. Pang’s granddaughter gave gifts to the winners.
