The 19th National Extenics Annual Conference and the Forum on
Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Creativity Education in the Digital Age (“全国第19届可拓学年会”暨“数智时代的创新创业创造教育论坛”) were organized by Chinese
Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) (中国人工智能学会) and Extenics Professional Committee
of CAAI (中国人工智能学会可拓学专业委员会), Southwest Jiaotong University (西南交通大学), Research Institute of Extenics and
Innovation Methods, GDUT (廣東工業大學可拓學與創新方法研究所), etc. from 15th to 17th Aug 2025. I
took a photo in front of the banner in Day 1.
In the morning, we had breadfast in the canteen with Prof.
Jiang Fan (江帆), Prof. Yang Chunyan (楊春燕) and Prof. Qin Jianjun (秦建军).
Then Prof. Tang Long (汤龙), Prof. Li Xingsen (李興森) and Prof. Sun Baiqing (孙佰清) joined together.
I met many Extenics friends and took a photo for memory.

Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony was hosted by Prof. Zhang Lingling (张玲玲) (中国人工智能学会可拓学专业委员会秘书长、中国科学院大学经济与管理学院党委书记、教授). The following guests gave welcoming remarks.
The first guest was Prof. Liu Changjun (刘长军) (西南交通大学党委常委、副校长).
The second guest was Prof. Feng Lin (冯林) (大连民族大学党委常委、副校长; 中国创造学会副理事长兼创新工程学分会主任委员).
The third guest was Prof. Sun Fuchun (孙富春) (中国人工智能学会副理事长; 清华大学计算机科学与技术系教授).
The fourth guest was Prof. Shi Yong (石勇) (中国科学院虚拟经济与数据科学研究中心主任、发展中国家科学院院士、国务院参事).
The last guest was Prof. Zhang Wengui (张文桂) (四川省创造学会会长; 西南交通大学原副校长).
After that we took a group photo.
Prof. Li Xingsen (李興森) chaired the keynotes session I.
The first keynote speaker was Prof. Feng Lin (冯林) (大连民族大学党委常委、副校长; 中国创造学会副理事长兼创新工程学分会主任委员) and his presentation entitled “Achieving
Disruptive Innovation using First Principles”(用第一性原理实现颠覆性创新).
Prof. Feng Lin quoted Elon Musk’s innovation journey as
example to explain how important of the first principle for disruptive innovation.
Finally, he briefed how to use the first principle for
innovation and finding opportunity for startup.
The second keynote speaker was Prof. Sun Fuchun (孙富春) (中国人工智能学会副理事长; 清华大学计算机科学与技术系教授) and his topic named “Opportunities and Challenges in the
Digital Age” (数智化时代的机遇与挑战). The presentation delivered via
video.
Professor Sun summarized the five major development
directions of the digital age, namely human-machine integrated systems and
thinking, talent cultivation, focusing on students' souls, diversified
learning, and human-machine collaborative teaching.
The third keynote speaker was Prof. Li Maoguo (李茂国) (对外经济贸易大学原党委副书记; 创新工程实验室主任; 中国创造学会创新工程学分会荣誉主任委员) and his presentation title was “Innovative
Engineering Empowers the Cultivation of Innovative Talents” (创新工程学赋能创新人才培养).
Firstly, he used Qian Xuesen's question as an introduction.
Finally, Prof. Li Maoguo introduced a curriculum system that
combines innovative engineering with AI to achieve innovation paradigm shift.
Then Prof. Wang Jun (王军) (中国创造学会创新工程学分会副主任委员、中国矿业大学前沿交叉研究院副院长) chaired the keynotes session II.
Prof. Yang Chunyan (杨春燕) (中国人工智能学会可拓学专业委员会前任主任; 广东工业大学可拓学与创新方法研究所荣誉所长) was the fourth keynote speaker and her
topic entitled “The Research Value and High-Quality Development of Extenics in
the Digital Age” (数智时代可拓学的研究价值与高质量发展).
Prof. Yang firstly introduced the Extenics development
history from 1976 to 2025 and separated into four stages.
She also proposed strategies for Extenics High Quality Development.
Lastly, she concluded that Extenics needed to innovate in methodology and upgrade
intelligently.
The fifth keynote speaker was Prof. Chen Guang (陈光) (西南交通大学公共管理学院教授(二级)四川省创造学会副会长) and his presentation was “Sino-US Scientific
and Technological Competition and the Cultivation of Innovative Talents” (中美科技竞争与创新性人才培养).
Prof. Chen suggested the path and method for training innovation
talents at the end.
Prof. Tian Yingjie (田英杰) (中国科学院大学经济与管理学院副院长; 中国科学院虚拟经济与数据科学研究中心副主任) was the sixth keynote speaker and his
topic entitled “Extension Classification Method for Label Variability” (面向标签可变性的可拓分类方法).
Prof. Tian discussed “Multi-instance Learning”, “Multi-view
Learning”, “Multi-label Learning”, “Partial-label Learning”, “Complementary-label
Learning” and “Multi-task Learning”. Finally, he proposed using Extension
Learning to combine Extenics and Machine Learning.
And then Prof. Qin Jianjun (秦建军) (中国人工智能学会可拓学专委会副秘书长、中国创造学会理事、北京建筑大学机器人工程系教授) chaired the last kenote session.
Prof. Li Xingsen (李興森) (中国人工智能学会可拓学专业委员会主任; 广东工业大学可拓学与创新方法研究所所长) was the seventh keynote speaker and his presentation
title was “Extenics helps Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education” (可拓学助力创新创业教育).
Then Prof. Li proposed innovation capability training through
double helix model.
At the end, Prof. Li concluded contradiction problem solving would
continuously develop and AI would create more innovation methodology. Extenics
through four steps to innovate and become scientific process.
The eighth keynote speaker was (罗清红) (四川省正高级教师(二级)成都工贸职业技术学院副院长) and his topic named “Brain Science
in the Digital Age makes Teaching and Learning Visible” (数智时代脑科学让“教·学”可见).
His three key topics were “Education is Seeing”, “Learning is
Connecting” and “Data is a Resource”.
The ninth keynote speaker was Prof. Sun Baiqing (孙佰清) (中国人工智能学会可拓工程专业委员会副主任; 哈尔滨工业大学经济与管理学院教授) and his presentation title was “New Quality
Productive Force Empowers the Extension Design Method of Smart Home Aging-friendly
Transformation” (新质生产力赋能智能家居适老化改造的可拓设计方法).
Prof. Sun briefed three core contradiction problems of smart
home aging friendly. And he expected the future smart home aging ecosystem to
be better through extension transformation.
The last keynote speaker was Prof. Yang Yongzhong (杨永忠) (四川大学创意管理研究所所长; 中国技术经济学会技术创新与创业分会副理事长) and his topic entitled “The
Extensibility of Creative Management and Production Certainty in Uncertainty” (创意管理的可拓性与不确定中生产确定).
During lunch break, I took a photo with Dr. Sun Yongwei (孙永伟) for memory.
I took a photo during lunch in Canteen.
After lunch, I walked to the venue for afternoon session. There
is a long staircase here.
Afternoon Session
I joined the session named “Forum on the Development of New
Productive Force and Talent Cultivation of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and
Creativity” (新质生产力发展与创新创业创造人才培养论坛).
Prof. Zhang Wei (张崴) (中国创造学会副秘书长、创新工程学分会秘书长、大连理工大学创新创业学院教研室副主任) chaired this session.
Firstly, Prof. Feng Lin (冯林) (大连民族大学党委常委、副校长; 中国创造学会副理事长兼创新工程学分会主任委员) gave welcome speech.
The first speaker was Prof. Wang Jun (王军) (中国创造学会创新工程学分会副主任委员、中国矿业大学前沿交叉研究院副院长) and his presentation topic entitled “Robotics
Innovative Thinking and Engineering Practice based on the CREATE Concept” (基于“CREATE理念”的机器人创新思维与工程实践)
Prof. Wang introduced the CREATE Concept model and CREATE
stand for Collaboration, Reorganization, Exploration, Application,
Transformation and Empowering.
The second speaker was Dr. Chang Zhiqiang (常志强) (医学博士、国家三级创新工程师; 一级创新培训师和一级创新咨询师) and his presentation title was “Theory
and Practice of Innovative Thinking based on the "Six-step Questioning
Method" of TRIZ Theory” (基于TRIZ理论的“提问题六步法”创新思维理论与实践).
Then Dr. Chang demonstrated six questions in sequence.
Finally, he linked up the questions with TRIZ tools and
demonstrated their relationship.
The third speaker was Prof. Huang Xianshan (黄仙山) (安徽工业大学创新创业学院直属党支部书记、院长). His presentation named “First-line,
Double-ring, and Diversified Integration: Exploration and Practice of Innovative
and Entrepreneurial Talent Training Models in Local Engineering Colleges” (一线双环、多元融合:地方工科院校创新创业人才培养模式探索与实践).
Prof. Huang briefed his university education for Innovative
and Entrepreneurial Talent Training including innovation and entrepreneurship competition.
The most innovative example that more then 356 students applied and got the
professional title!
After his presentation, I discussed with Prof. Huang about
professional title for student.
The fourth speaker was Mr. Ren Qilong (任起龙) (北汽福田汽车特级总师; 新质生产力研究专家) and his topic entitled “Parallel
Space creates an Internet Platform and a New Quality Productive Force Knowledge
Incubator” (平行空间创造互联网平台,新质生产力知识孵化器).
Lastly, Mr. Ren shared how “Made in China” winning continuously
throught the Chinese word “贏”.
Prof. Qin Jianjun (秦建军) (北京建筑大学机器人工程系教授; 中国人工智能学会可拓学专委会副秘书长) was the fifth speaker and his topic
named “Some Thoughts on Cultivating Three Types of Innovative Talents in the Intelligent
Era” (智能时代三创人才培养的若干思考).
Then he discussed the AGI capability over human at singularity
and expected in 2050. Because GPT-5 issued on 8 Aug 2025 that achieved doctorate
expert level.
Lastly, Prof. Qin introduced his university student innovative
capability training approach.
After the break, Prof. Ma Lixiu (马立修) (中国创造学会副秘书长、创新工程学分会秘书长、大连理工大学创新创业学院教研室副主任、创新创业学院副院长) chaired the coming session.
The sixth speaker was Prof. Wei Yongxing (魏永幸) (教授级高工、国家注册土木(岩土)工程师、陆地交通地质灾害防治技术国家工程研究中心特聘研究员) and his presentation was “The Application
and Practice of Enterprise Technological Innovation and Innovation Methods
under Strong Constraints” (强约束条件下企业技术创新及创新方法应用实践).
Firstly, Prof. Wei briefed the key strong constraints in
enterprise including technology, responsibility, standards and time. One of innovation
method named “System – Subtraction” (系統–減法).
Finally, he explained innovative three people team included “Engineering
Expert”, “Innovation Method Expert” and “Innovation Engineer”. Innovation engineer
is the bridge between engineering expert and innovation method expert.
The seventh speaker was Mr. Huang Jun (黄军) (正高级工程师、江浙沪科技专家、科技部专家、中国创造学会创新工程学分会委员) and his presentation title was “Discussion on the
Application of AI*TRIZ in IPD” (AI*TRIZ在IPD的应用探讨). He firstly briefed organization innovation capabiltiy
levels.
Then he introduced different tools of TRIZ system. Lastly, he
briefed the overall integrated product development (IPD) and integrated product
management (IPM) under AI*TRIZ approach.
Dr. Sun Yongwei (孙永伟) (对外经济贸易大学创新工程实验室副主任,TRIZ五级大师、中国创造学会创新工程学分会副主任委员) was the eighth speaker and his topic
entitled “Several Examples of Enterprise Innovation Methods” (企业创新方法的几个实例). In the beginning, he showed a video
named “刘亚楼,你记一下” that demonstrated clear and simple
instructions. And showed different TRIZ application cases.
Finally, he briefed the modern TRIZ theory path of problem solving.
The ninth speaker was Prof. Wang Tichun (王体春) (南京航空航天大学副教授,Griffith University访问学者,企业数字化转型咨询专家) and his presentation was “Cognition
of Enterprise Digital Transformation and Upgrading Driven by New Quality Productive
Force” (新质生产力驱动下的企业数字化转型升级认知).
Prof. Wang proposed industry revolution needed intelligent change,
digital transformation, internet and innovation.
Lastly, the AGM of China Creative Studies Institute - Innovation
Engineering Branch (中国创造学会创新工程学分会) was performed.
Extenics scholars left early for dinner. Prof. Li Li and I
went to canteen.
I took a photo with Prof. Zhang Lingling (张玲玲).
During dinner, I met two new friends. One is Mr. Hu Xiaoming,
Michael (胡小明) (SMP Nissens Automotive).
Another one is Ms. Ma Ruoling (马若龄) who now is PhD candidate of City
University of Macau.
