ANQ Congress Yokohama 2024 – Gala Dinner

Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) Congress 2024 was held by Japanese Society for Quality Control (JSQC) in the Keio University, Yokohama, Japan from 16-20 Sep 2024. The congress theme was “Prosperity through Quality – Returning to Origins, Leaping into the Future”.  After two days congress activities, Gala Dinner is our traditional celebration event. We need to move location from Yagami Campus to Hiyoshi Campus. Since it was small raining, Minda and I together Taiwan team walked to the Campus.

In the cafeteria, we sat together waiting for gala dinner.

Then Minda and I received a gift, which was Chinese white wine which brand name is “國緣” (National Fate).

During the waiting time, I met some old and new friends and took a photo for memory.

Prof. Tomomichi Suzuki announced the start of gala dinner. 

Dr. Duan Yonggang (段永剛) (ANQ Chairman) gave welcome speech.

After that I walked around the tables to take photo for memory.

Prof. Kano announced the Gala Dinner Performance started.

I selected a famous song from Tanimura Shinji (谷村新司) named “昴/星” (Pleiades/Star) in three languages included Japanese, Mandarin and Cantonese.
