I was honor to be invited by Mr.
Peter Yip (President, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Bay Area Economic and Trade
Association) and Mr. Bruce Cheung (Executive Director, CS Global Consultancy
Limited) to attend the launching ceremony and welcome reception for the 1st
“GBA Doctorate, Executive Master and Associate Academician" Course on 16th
Oct 2019. I met Mr. Peter Yip and Mr.
Bruce Cheung during HKIMI seminar on 26 July 2019 and then they introduced this
association to me.

Then all participants to take a

In the beginning, Mr. Peter Yip (President,
Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Bay Area Economic and Trade Association) gave a welcome
speech and introduced their vision and purpose to cooperate with the country's
reform and opening up, the strategic planning development of GBA through nutrient
talents to accelerate the construction of GBA district to be world leading
economy area.
Then Mr. Stan Tang (President, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Bay Area Economic and Trade Association) introduced the First "GBA Doctorate, Executive Master and Associate Academician" Course and its cooperation partners such as SCOPE, CityU, Swiss Education Group and Nanchang University.
Dr. Louis Ma (Director, School of
Continuing and Professional Education, CityU) briefed the talent need and
training in GBA. We needed suitable
training for GBA continuously, so at to adopt the demand of talent in GBA.
Prof. Martin Yin (Shenzhen
Institute of Peking University, PKU-HKUST Shenzhen-Hong Kong Institution,
Financial Innovation Center; Swiss Education Group) introduced Master degree in
Swiss to us.
Dr. Chen Wei Guang (陳偉光) (Director, Nanchang University “Hong
Kong, Macao and Taiwan” Education Development Research Center and United
Education Center of Greater Bay Area) briefed Nanchang University research and
it belong to 211 (mean that it is top 100 universities in China).
Finally, all guests took a group and toasted to us.
