Post-ANQ Congress 2018 City Tour in Almaty, Kazakhstan

Post-ANQ City Tour (22 Sep 2018)

After ANQ Congress 2018, Minda and I stayed two more days.  We walked around the hotel and went to the market.

We saw a very long wedding car. 

Then we visited some shop and always saw big apple.

Fruit and beer were found to be king size!

In supermarket, there were many Vodka.  I found that one of Vodka named “Idea” meaning that you would have idea after drunk.

We then visited the Flea market named “Ramstore”.

We had tried their fired potato outside.

Fired corn was sold.

Inside the market, many consumer products you could find here.  

When we came back to hotel, we met a local girl.

We visited “The Museum of Orenbury Region” again

The exhibition of traditional cloths were same as we visited in 2011.  However, many Chinese from Guangzhou and Hong Kong who visited here with tour guide.

Post-ANQ City Tour (23 Sep 2018)

On Sunday, we visited the rural area.  Since our flight was in mid-night, we visited two rural places and had dinner before go to airport.

We took a photo with Red plant wall.

When we back, we saw the Kazakhstan snow leopard.  

After that we took a cable car to find eagle. 

It is for skiing in the winter.

We found the eagle!

Then we wore the traditional dress for photo with eagle!

The eagle was very heavy (~8kg).

Staff made eagle fly during the photo.

Minda touched the eagle after photo taken.

It cost HK$200 for 5 photos with eagle and traditional dress.  You can also took photos using your camera and mobile. 

When we come back to city, we saw a transformer in the street.  I took a photo with him.

Finally, we found a traditional restaurant for dinner.  

We ordered BBQ lamb, chicken and beef.

The fried fish was very good taste!

Arrived in Kazakhstan International Airport

There are some souvenir shop inside.  I brought one more local Brandy back home! 

When we were almost back to Hong Kong, we saw sun rising.
