Pre-ANQ Congress 2017 Visit in Nepal (Day 4 to Day 5)

Pre-ANQ Visit Day 4 (18 Sep 2017)
We met many ANQ friends on Monday morning and they needed to attend ANQ CEC meeting.  I took a photo with them before breakfast.  Moreover, they had ANQ Board Meeting on 19 Sep 2017.

During breakfast, we met Dr. Yury and Dr. KS Chin.


Since Prof. Yang and Dr. KS Chin also needed to attend the ANQ CEC meeting, we went to the Thamel for Shopping with Mrs. Yang and Mrs. Chin.  We saw beautiful paints on street.


Also saw traditional tricycle.


Mr. Peter Fung introduced us to buy handmade T-shirt.  He said they were in Industry 4.0 that immediately customization for you.  We brought a T-shirt and its size without stock, they immediately made for Peter and we got it after lunch at 2:00pm.


We took a group photo in the restaurant which located in the second floor.


Peter found his first time visited hotel named “Kathmandu Guest House” on 19 years ago.  It is a first hotel in here but no air conditioning.


In afternoon, we would like to visit Narayanhitti Musuem but it closed at 3:00pm.  And then we walked aroung the Durbar Marg. Some soldiers rode horses to walk on the road.  


Lastly, we visited Kathmandu Darbar Square.  


Many temples were under repairing because of earthquake.


I took a photo with solder for memory.


When we left, we saw a secondary school named “Paropakar Airsha Secondary School”, they faced problem after earthquake.  


Pre-ANQ Visit Day 5 (19 Sep 2017)
On Tuesday morning, we went to Nagrkot for seeing the Sunrise.  We needed to start at 4:00am.


After around one hour, we arrived the location and needed the walk little steps for the top of hill.


We saw a sunrise but the weather was not good enough.  It was raining.


Peter was the first guy to climb up to the tower.  


I also took photo in there.


After that we went down and saw a beautiful scene.  The car in that photo was rental by us.


Then we went to the Club Himalaya Nagarkot for breakfast. (We also met Prof. Tong - CAQ)


The driver’s friend was working in that hotel and explained the ingredient of milk tea to Peter.


Minda and I took a photo outside.


It was a very beautiful scene after the raining.  


Then we left and went to the Changunarayan, we saw some soldiers under training.


We brought ticket to go to Changunarayan and it costed Rs. 300 per people.


We succeed to exchange things to things such as watch for cloth and dolls for cloth.


We also succeed to exchange teas using SONY souvenir watch (Peter brought a TV long time ago and the watch was souvenir).


Many temples were repairing too.


We met a graduate named (海曼塔from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University during coffee break of our trip. He is Nepal people and studied nine years in Shanghai.  He was able to speak and type Chinese and also English!


When we came back, we some many Art school and we watched how to draw the paint.


The last station was Bhaktapur Durbar Square and we saw some traditional performance. (Remark: When our car reached the outside of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, it had ticket counter and we needed to show our passport to buy ticket.  We said we came from China and the ticket cost Rs. 500.  If other foreigner, it costs Rs. 1500.)

The highest temple was located in this region.  


Minda and I had selfie with this temple.


We took a lunch here and it was Nepal traditional food.  White cream was the famous sour milk. 


Before the finished our last day of pre-ANQ Congress visits, I took a photo on the top of restaurants outside scene.
