Pre-ANQ Congress 2017 Visit in Nepal (Day 1 to Day 3)

Pre-ANQ Visit Day 1 (15 Sep 2017)

Minda and I went to Kathmandu, Nepal through evening flight on 15 Sep 2017.

We are so lucky that our seat upgraded to Business class.

I took a photo in front of the Nepal International Airport.

We left the airplane and went into the bus.

We went together with Dr. Chin and Mrs. Chin.

Arrived at 21:43 and many Korea brands were observed.

Pre-ANQ Visit Day 2 (16 Sep 2017) 

I took a photo of the Conference hotel – Soaltee Crowne Plaza.  We had a lazy morning breakfast and then visit Swayambhu.

We rented a taxi to go to Swayambhu.

Many temples were insider the Swayambhu and it needed a ticket cost Rs. 200 per person.

A Buddha was in the middle of pool and many people fall a coin into it for lucky.

I found that it like a circular economy.  People collected the coins back and then changing to others.

Many souvenir shops were in there.

A large Buddhist sculpture was observed.

It seems like graveyard.

The Buddhist temple with many color flags and saw beautiful scene.

The flag was printed with “Scripture”.

I tried to roll the bell (in clockwise direction) for luck.

We saw many monkeys in surrounding of the temple. (It also called as Monkey Temple.)

The golden one was visited.

At the end, we came back to hotel and found that it was a university graduation celebration.

I took a photo with two students and they studied BBA.  

The hall is large and our ANQ Congress would be held in here soon.

Pre-ANQ Visit Day 3 (17 Sep 2017)

We visited the Great Boudha Stupa (World Heritage Site) (Rs. 400) on the third day and the price quoted is for foreign countries people.

It was a big circle of shops and we selfie for memory.

We saw a dancing performance for TV program / Film.  

Very interesting dancing was recorded.

Minda took a photo with pigeon.  

The front door sculpture is very traditional.

Then we want to another World Heritage Site named Pashupatinath (Rs. 1000) (Guide Rs. 1500 for a group about four people).  People washed their family members’ dead body and then burn in the side of river.

The monk-like people were son of the people who pass away and they needed to haircut like this for memory his family member gone.

This temple had 1700 years old!

We want back to the temple.

In the way, I took a beautiful photo with many pigeons. 

After that we want to Patan Dubar Square and had coffee in Himalayan Java Coffee.

Patan, famous as the oldest city in the Kathmandu Valley, is known as the “City of Fine Arts”. (16^th Century)

Minda and I took a photo in the top of building and saw the Patan Dubar Square.

Finally, we brought some famous tea named “Darjeeling Tea” in the small shop.
