We are appreciated TDK-EPC HK Ltd. to provide an opportunity for universities' students in Hong Kong studing the real industrial problems through HKSQ Student Project Competition. Today, Mr. CP Chow (Ex-chairman of HKSQ) and I led five groups of students (HKUST, PolyU and HKU) to visit TDK-EPC HK Ltd. (Photo taken before went into factory)
We gathered at Futian and took a company minibus to go to the factory.
When we arrived at TDK-EPC HK Ltd., we saw the welcome statement. Apart from HKSQ visit, another group of student from City University of Hong Kong would visit at the same day.
In the beginning, Dr. Luk Chi Fai (Senior Manager, Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor, Quality Assurance) gave an opening speech and briefing the visit requirement.
After the briefing, Mr. Kwong, Kar Fai (Senior Engineer, Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor, Quality Assurance) introduced each process to us through factory tour.
Mr. Kwong explained each process and practice to the student.
After lunch, other experts from TDK-EPC explained the specific problems to the student and led different teams to the specific process for in-depth discussion.
At the end, Mr. Chau Yiu Chung (President) shared his 23 years working experience in China to students. He encouraged student to equip their knowledge and understood that the training provided by university was basic. We needed to continue education and improvement. TDK-EPC was observed to be a learning organization.
I represented HKSQ to give a souvenir to Mr. Chau.
