In the beginning, Karson gave opening speech to start the final stage of the Student Project Competition 2010. The presentation of each team was related to four questions: Q1 – Pilot Production Quality; Q2 – Total Staff Involvement; Q3 – Supplier Quality Management; and Q4 – Voice of Customer (VOC) & communication.
The first group was Team 4 from HKU and the question selected was Q3.
The second group was Team 8 from CityU and the question selected was Q4.
The third group was Team 3 from HKUST and they selected Q1.
The fourth group was Team 6 from PolyU and Q2 was selected to be presented.
After tea break, Team 1 from HKUST presented Q3.
Team 2 was the sixth group from HKUST to present Q4.
Team 7 from PolyU was the seventh group and Q4 was also selected for the competition.
Final group was Team 5 from Poly U and they presented the solution for Q2.
After judge panel discussion, Mr. Peter Ho (Owner of TechWorld) gave a closing speech to all students. He appreciated the performance of all participants’ efforts and encouraged all students to continue improvement themselves for future challenge.
The result of HKSQ Company Based Student Project Competition 2010 was shown as follows.
The 2nd Runner Up was Team 8 (CityU)
(Member: Chan Ka Hei, Wong Sze Chung & Wong Ting Hin)
The 1st Runner Up was Team 6 (PolyU)
(Member: Yap Yih Shan, DAI Xin & BAI Miao)
The Champion was Team 5 (PolyU).
(Member: Mak Man Wa, Ng Ka Yiu, Leung Ho Ting & Ng Lai Lang)
Lastly, I represented HKSQ to present souvenir to TechWorld top management.
