SQI Webinar – Experience Sharing using AI to apply Expert Judgment in Legal Compliance & QM

Singapore Quality Institute (SQI) arranged a webinar entitled “Experience Sharing using AI to apply Expert Judgment in Legal Compliance and Quality Management” on 31st Oct 2026. The key speaker was Ms. Teresa Chan (Group Head of Legal & Compliance / MLRO Bindo Labs Limited (Wonder)) and guest speaker was Ms. Alfa Hung (Paralegal / AI in Legal Practice). The webinar highlighted AI-assisted legal & compliance workflows, practical prompting & real-world use cases, and embedding AI into decision-making.

They introduced the six levels of Claude adoption trace a user’s evolution from basic querying to full-scale autonomous orchestration: it begins at Level 1 (The Amateur) with one-off, search-engine-style questions without context, advances to Level 2 (The Regular) by organizing context and files within dedicated Projects, and expands at Level 3 (The Integrator) by linking Claude directly to daily workplace tools like Gmail, Drive, and Notion. Mastery deepens at Level 4 (The Operator) as the user acts as a "human in the loop" who delegates execution and reviews outputs, scales at Level 5 (The Builder) through creating automated loops, custom tools, and functional apps, and culminates at Level 6 (The Agent Orchestrator), where the user transitions to a "human on the loop" who designs and oversees multi-agent systems that autonomously run entire processes.

In second part, speakers using example to demonstrate the workflow automated the drafting, localization, and administrative tracking pipeline while keeping a strict human "governance gate" to ensure legal compliance before launch.

The last part was leadership & accountability. Ms. Teresa Chan introduced her PhD study on the quality excellence model related to AI adoption intensity. Then she also mentioned five instruments assign accountability included ISO 42001, EU AI Act, FCA(UK), MAS FEAT (SG) and HKMA (HK). Finally, she concluded from user to decision maker and using AI every day.

In Q&A session, I asked how to due with AI accident case of self-driving car and who was accountable.
