Visit to PolyU EEE Department Laboratories

Mr. CF Wong (Fung) and Mr. Patrick Yip are my old colleagues in HKSTP long time ago. We now serviced in PolyU and had lunch together on 7^th Aug 2024. 

After lunch, Fung led me to visit their laboratories in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE).

I also visited their office.

In the EEE laboratories, I observed high voltage electrical devices.

Electric Vehicle and Wheelchair application were also included.

Robot underwater was saw.

Then they introduced some classroom for EEE students and one of their duties is to ensure technical and specific software update status. 

I had chance to visit PolyU and Huawei joint laboratory. (It is similar to HKSTP Solid State Lighting Laboratory under Photonic Development Testing Centre - See reference)

I also saw some historical devices demonstrated outside the laboratories.

Finally, I went to CityU and saw some students to watch the Olympic ping pong competition.
