HKQF the 13th TIC-ITAC Meeting

The 13^th meeting of Industry Training Advisory Committee for Testing, Inspection & Certification Industry (TIC-ITAC) under Hong Kong Qualification Framework (HKQF) was held on 5th Jul 2022.  Since Covid-19 pandemic has not passed, the meeting performed both online and onsite mode. Our chairman - Mr. Felix Chan stayed in mainland China and we communicated through zoom. Then we took a group photo for memory.

Mr. Dominic Lam (CMA Testing), Mr. Ben Tsang (SGSHK) and I took a photo. We are HKSQ exco member and corporate member to contribute into TIC field.

After reviewed the past activities including award scheme and RPL arrangement, HKQF announced a new career pathway for construction material testing for secondary students.

Then we invited Hong Kong Metropolitan University to introduce their new program which is “Applied Degree” and recognized by government recently. BAS is focused more on practice than BEng and BSc.

All members received a tram model as gift for memory.
