Based on Dr. Aaron Tong
invitation, I together with TQM expert team to visit Shenzhen Intellectual
Property Society (SZIPS) (深圳市知识产权研究会) and to discuss about “Extenics” (可拓學) promotion to
primary and secondary school students.

I come from Futian station
through SZ MTR to go to the 榮生大廈.
Then we had a discussion
about how to promote Extenics and Innovation items. I summarized some key
points below:

Aaron commented
that (i) make it as simple as possible and don’t use formula; (ii) also promote
IP related existing program from SZ to HK, (iii) back to the basic that
introduce SZ success case for primary student innovative education using
Extenics & TRIZ & IP elements.

Michael added
that could utilize local government resource such as HK Government’s funding
such as ITF, PASS and NTTS, etc.

Mr. Yin Hanfan
(鄞漢藩) said he used
Extenics as framework and added different innovative elements for knowledge
innovation and IP protection concept. He expected to enhance new generation’s
innovative thinking and to have fundamental innovation method. His approach was that he learn from expert
upto 80% and contribute to others; others also learnt from him 80%. Finally the learner had original theory upto
64% (80%x80%) that would be enough! He
added that Extenics he taught was focused on technology and development of
product innovation.
After that Mr. Yin demonstrated some of his training materials.
He also showed his past
activities which recorded in the SZIPS annual report. Mr. Yin Hanfan then discussed with us about Guangdong-Hong
Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area young student exchanging plan and competition. Dr. Aaron Tong was invited to lead a team (e.g.
2 teachers with 3 students) in Hong Kong.
It designed for junior one or two year secondary students and the
project prepared in the middle of Oct 2019.
Dr. Aaron Tong would arrange some international school student for this program.
Finally, Dr. Aaron Tong and
I presented HKSQ anniversary book and China Quality with Extenics paper I
written in 2017.
Mr. Yin Hanfan (鄞漢藩) also
presented his publication named “Application of the Extenics Conjugate Theory
in the Analysis of Patent Resources” in the Journal of Guangdong University of
Technology.
At the end, we took a photo
in front of SZIPS office. I also
observed that SZIPS office is also the MATRIZ (Chian) Training Centre in
Shenzhen.
