Visit to the HuaShan (華山)

I followed Dr. KS Chin to visit Xian HaoTong University from 7^th to 10^th Jan 2019.  On 9^th Jan 2019, we planned to visit the Hua Mountain (華山 - HuaShan) to see the snow scene of the mountain from West Peak to South Peak and then to North Peak.

We booked a car to go to the HuaShan and this time we started from West Peak.  We needed to take a transit bus to go to the main entry.

After walked for many steps, we arrived the cable car station.

The cable car in West Peak was new and I took a photo inside it.  Since it is very cool day and not the travel season, only three people in the cable car which max capability was 8.

Dr. KS Chin and I took a photo inside the cable car.  Our sunlight sensitive glasses turned black indicating the UV was strong that may be the reflection from the snow surface!

Beautiful snow mountain surroundings were observed.

Steep trails and breath-taking cliffs were everywhere.

The end of cable car was inside the mountain!

We arrived the West Peak Cableway and saw introduction information.

It was about lunch time and we enjoyed fired chicken in the West Peak fast food restaurant.

And then we walked to South Peak.

It was only -5^oC!

Dr. Chin and I arrived the South Peak and took a photo for memory.  Its height was ~2154.9m.

The whole and wide picture was taken.

Dr. Chin and I performed Huashan tournament (華山論劍).

And then we went to the Skywalk (長空棧道) and photo in front of the entre.

I helped Dr. Chin to take a photo before the entry.  But the staff took us that the weather was not good and the skywalk was closed.

I also took a photo in the entry.

A short video was taken.

After that we tried the self-heat noodle and Chinese Vodka. 

Arrived Golden Lock (金鎖關).

We almost went to the North Peak, we passed the Canglongling(蒼龍嶺).  We hadn’t walked it in this time because of different way for downhill.

I took photo in front of another Huashan tournament (華山論劍).

The Harmony Mountain Peak (落雁峰) was in the opposite peak.

Finally, we arrived the North Peak.

We then went to the North Peak cable car station that was the first cable car in HauShan and its capability only for 6 people.  

When I reach the bottom of mountain, I saw a sculpture named “Take the Huashan Eight Warriors” (智取華山八勇士).  

We come back to the hotel and had dinner in local style restaurant.
