CityU EngD Society Meeting with Acting Dean, School of Data Science

We are honor to have meeting with Prof. Duan Li (Associate Provost (Strategic Planning) Office of the Provost; Acting Dean, School of Data Science; Chair Professor of Operations Research, CityU) to follow our previous discussion on the future of EngD (EM) program.  We took a photo in front of meeting room.

Dr. Raymond Leung (CityU Distinguished Alumni), Dr. Herbert Yeung (Chairman, CityU EngD Society) and I represented EngD Society for this meeting.  Peter Ho appeared to show support at the end of meeting.

We expressed EngD(EM) cohorts’ opinions to continue the EngD(EM) Program and reposition to the higher level hierarchy of CityU such as under College of Engineer.  Prof. Duan Li said the new Dean of College of Engineer may be on board in early next year.  The separation from College of Science and Engineering into College of Science and College of Engineering was delayed. 

After the meeting, we met Dr. Peter W. Tse and had lunch together.  He told us the MSc of Engineering Management recruitment was very good and valuable to keep it.
