Post-National Quality Conference 2017 Dinner & Visit in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

The 6^th National Quality Conference (NQC) organized by Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) from 28^th to 30^th Nov 2017.  After the opening ceremony on 28^th Novand the Day 1 program on 29^th Nov, SASO arranged gala dinner and market visit to all guests.  I would like to share our happy night below.

Post-NQC dinner – Day 1 (29 Nov 2017)

We all were honor to be invited by Dr. Saad Kasabi (SASO Governor) to have dinner in Sunset Beach – AlKhobar.  

When we were inside the resort, performers gave us sword and dancing.

Dr. Saad Kasabi (SASO Governor) gave a welcome speech.

Singapore team presented a gift to the Governor.

Minda and I also took a photo with Dr. Saad Kasabi for memory.

We also took a photo with Mr. Tamis A. Alhammadi and Dr. Ayed Alamri.

Mr. Kee Ann Chan was invited to join the wedding ceremony.

Mr. Mike Turner was invited to sing a song named “No Woman No Cry”.

After that we all were invited to dancing.

We had a very good dinner outside.

Mr. Kitson Leonard joined the performers to dancing in the beach.

At the end, performers were dancing in a circle. 

Post-NQC visit & dinner – Day 2 (30 Nov 2017)

After the conference and lunch, we went out for shopping.  Mr. Tamis A. Alhammadi waited us in the hotel lobby.  We took a group photo before started.

We were arrived the shopping street in Dammam.  

Minda and I brought some local foods as souvenir for company colleagues. 

Dr. Narinder Kaur brought many cloth related goods.

After that we went to the Shopping Mall.

Men ware shop was found but I had already brought Thobe.

Lighting lamp shop was found many lamps.

Very beautiful lamps

Hand-made colorful disc but too large.

Pray time and no shop open, we needed to wait in the special area.

Then we enjoyed local tea.

We took a photo with old artist and one of his famous sculptures was King drawing using 2 year to finish.  

After shopping, we had a dinner in Sanbok Restaurant.  

Very beautiful night view and good food!

Come back to Hong Kong (1 Dec 2017)

SASO arranged a car for Minda and I to go to airport at 6:00pm. And we had VIP arrangement that we passed individual custom without queue.

We rested in a large room with local coffee and snacks. 

When it was on time, a car delivered us to the airplane and staff led us inside the airplane directly.  It was a very good experience!
