Visit to Shenzhen Association for Quality (SZAQ) New Office 2017

Hong Kong Society for Quality (HKSQ) visited Shenzhen Association for Quality (SZAQ) new office (near 八卦岭MTR station) on 3^rd July 2017. Shenzhen Association for Quality (SZAQ) which was established in 1987 (where HKSQ established in 1986) and this year was SZAQ 30^th Anniversary.  SZAQ is the bridge between Government and Industries (with quality professionals) so as to enhance quality awareness, technology and continuous improvement. The previous visit was 3 years ago (2014).  We took a group photo in front of their brand for memory.

Then we introduced Dr. Ivan Ng to Dr. Li.  Dr. Ng would like to study the leadership factor in China manufacturers toward “Made in China 2025” policy.  I introduced that HKSQ had supported Dr. Ivan Ng’s previous student about culture factors on six sigma implementation in China manufacturers and then Dr. Ivan Ng presented his study results to HKSQ members on 9^th Oct 2015. Dr. KS Chin said HKSQ and CityU could support his study again.  However, Dr. Ivan Ng would like to perform a survey for Shenzhen industries.  Dr. Mickey Li (李榕會長) said the questionnaire should be short (one or two pages) and the topic should be interested by Shenzhen manufacturers.  

Dr. Ivan Ng would prepare proposal to Dr. Li later.  Then we had discussed different topics such as Certification for Startup which performed by HKQAA and HKSTP, and Extenics Innovation Methods. 

After the meeting, we come back to Sheung Shui to have dinner together.
