HKQF Partnerships Commendation Ceremony

Hong Kong Qualification Framework (HKQF) arranged a QF Partnerships Commendation Ceremony on 29 Nov 2016 at the Heung Yee Kuk Jockey Club Grand Theatre.  HKQF is a platform covering academic, vocational and continuing education sectors to promote lifelong learning with a view to continuously enhancing the quality, professionalism and competitiveness of our workforce in an increasingly globalized and knowledge-based economy.  QF Partnerships Commendation Ceremony” was a large-scaled event to commend and show government appreciation to more than 100 organizations for their support and contribution to QF.  I (member, Industry Training Advisory Committee for Testing, Inspection & Certification Industry (TIC-ITAC)) was honor to be invited for attending this ceremony.  I took a photo in front of the venue.

Then I met the two winners of Award Scheme for Learning Experiences.  They were Ms. Kathy Choi (SGS) (2016/17) and Mr. Litto Tam (SGS) (2015/16)

They became our HKQF TIC ambassadors. Ms. Kathy Choi and I gave career talk to secondary school. (https://qualityalchemist.blogspot.hk/2016/10/hkqf-career-talk-on-testing.html ) and Mr. Litto with other winners joined ANQ Congress 2015 in Taiwan.  Then we took a photo with Ms. Fung Ka-Wing (Senior Manager, HKQF) for memory.

In the ITAC session, I met Ms. Bess Choi (HKQAA) and Ms. Camdy Chow (TUV).  We were the committee members since 2011. 

In the beginning, Mr. Yeung Yun-Hung, Kevin, JP (Under Secretary for Education) gave welcome speech. He appreciated all organizations; society and government departments supported HKQF and achieved many results.

Finally, all winners of Award Scheme for Learning Experiences took a group photo with ITAC representative.  Ms. Kathy Choi (SGS) and Mr. Litto Tam (SGS) were walking to the stage.  

After the group photo, MC asked the representatives transferred the torch to the winner, indicating to pass the flame to next generation (薪火相傳).

At the end, all ITAC committee members took a group photo for memory.

During the tea time, HKQF made a cookie as gift.
