CLP Power QCC Convention 2014

CLP Power Quality Control Circle (QCC) Convention has established since 2002. It aims to offer our staff a platform to submit any creative ideas they may have to improve processes, procedures and overall operations in the form of a proposal. CLPP QCC Convention is one of key quality culture activities and HKSQ exco members were honour to be invited as guests for the Convention. Moreover, our former chairman Dr. Aaron Tong was one of judges.

I appreciated Mr. Albert CK Lo (Systems & Quality Development Manager, SHEQ Power System, CLP) to invite us joining this meaningful activities and we learnt a lot on corporation quality culture. We knew each other in IQC’14 Japan in Oct 2014.

There were 163 items for QCC and selected 62 items and only 13 items for final presentation. Some interested photos per each team during performance and stated their improvement projects were shared.

Four special awardees were shown as follows:
The best project award – Team 9

The most valuable award – Team 5

The most creative award – Team 8

The environmental pioneer award – Team 3

It selected six teams to award the Golden (6), Sliver (6) and Bronze (6) Prize, individually.
Team 13 –拆它易 won one of golden prizes

We enjoyed the convention very much and felt their passion on their jobs and how TQM continuous work in CLP.
